Benue State governor escapes auto crash unharmed.

The Benue State Governor, Governor Samuel Ortom, yesterday, had an auto crash when a commercial vehicle collided with his convoy, though he escaped unharmed. 

The accident according to the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Terver Akase, occurred in between Abakwa and Adi in Buruku council around 4:30pm. 

A Toyota Carina II left its lane and ran into the Nigerian Union of Journalist, NUJ bus, which was also among the governor’s convoy. 
He said no death casualty ws recorded, but a passenger in the Toyota had head injuries and was taken to the hospital on the order of the governor, also, Kris Atsaka,  the state’s NUJ chairman also sustained minor injuries.
