Filippo Di Pierro, coach for Spanish third division side, Eldense, has been apprehended by the Spanish police investigating match fixing accusations.
Di Pierro was arrested after seeing his team lose 12-0 to Barcelona B on Saturday.

Barcelona B was cleared of any wrongdoing or involvement in the matter.
The Italian coach was appointed in January by an undisclosed Italian investment group that has since broken its relationship with the close.
The defeat sealed the club’s fate of relegation and the scoreline was a joint defeat record for the third spanish division.
During an interview with Spanish radio, Cadena Ser, the club’s defender, Emmanuel Mendy disclosed that the assistant coach, Fran Ruiz, had asked him about a match fixing plan.
Mendy said, “He asked me if I was in and how much I wanted and if I wasn’t in then I wouldn’t play.”
