The incumbent government of the All Progressives Congress, APC, is gradually demolishing the work of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Raymond Dokpesi claimed.
Chief Raymond Dokpesi, a candidate for the national chairman of PDP lamented that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, is gradually destroying the work of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the growth and development of Nigeria.
Chief Dokpesi, during a campaign visit to the Abia State Chapter of the party on Tuesday, maintained that in opposition to the APC’s cruel propaganda, PDP laid a solid foundation during its 16 years in power.
They are rather destroying the good foundation they inherited from the PDP in the last 16 years.
Dokpesi alleged that the ruling administration has been destroying the strings of national growth, unity and the whole populace have realized the change slogan is a deceit.
He sighted Abdulrashid Maina’s case to buttress his point that the APC’s fight against corruption is filled with pretense and insincerity.
Maina’s case, he alleged, involves senior public officials including ministers and presidency officials.
Dokpesi boasted that the APC can never outshine the PDP, saying that APC ruled states are experiencing setbacks, while states ruled by PDP are progressing.
He proclaimed himself as the best candidate needed to revitalized, reconstruct and remake the PDP.
He announced, “Any mistake we make in 2019 not to take PDP back to power will be a total disaster. We have to collectively come together to solve the problems of our party.”
The South West zone, according to him, despite having seven of the nine chairmanship candidates, are not suited for the position and also ruled out the last candidate, Prince Uche Secondus.
Secondus, he claimed, was part of the old era of the party.
